At Charmed Playhouses and Charmed Resorts, we create enchanting experiences that inspire joy and hope. Through our Sprinkles of Joy Initiative, we support children and families who face significant challenges, offering moments of magic when they need it most.

What We Look For

We seek opportunities to support communities within an approximate 30-kilometre (20-mile) radius of our locations. Our investments are guided by the following principles:

  • Support Kids and Families in Challenging Situations: Providing donated stays for children facing terminal illnesses, medical challenges, or difficult life circumstances, bringing them and their families moments of joy and respite.

  • Address a Community Need: Partnering with organizations that help families overcome obstacles and thrive through support, resources, or fundraising efforts.

  • Create Shared Value: Collaborating with groups whose missions align with our values of family, resilience, and community well-being.

  • Promote Equity and Inclusion: Ensuring that all children, regardless of background, can experience magical moments of hope and happiness.

  • Engage Our Team: Offering ways for Charmed employees to contribute time, energy, and creativity to brighten lives.

  • Show Measurable Impact: Demonstrating how donated stays help make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families.

We believe every child deserves to experience the magic of hope and happiness, no matter their circumstances. Through donated stays, we aim to support organizations that uplift children and their families, crafting a more inclusive and compassionate future.

Please note

Charmed Playhouses and Charmed Resorts do not provide monetary funding. Instead, we donate stays to support organizations raising funds or providing experiences for children and families facing challenges. While we strive to support as many initiatives as possible, we prioritize those most closely aligned with our mission.

Ineligible organizations

  • Agricultural initiatives

  • Giveaways or prizes

  • For-profit organizations

  • Private schools

  • Organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation

  • Individuals, GoFundMe or similar campaigns

  • Religious, political or special interest groups

  • Sports, professional, recreational or minor sports teams (including golf tournaments, hockey, or other sporting tournaments)

  • Fundraisers

  • Advertising, memberships, ticket sales, or lotteries

  • Arts organizations (theatres, museums, orchestras, etc.)

  • Organizations seeking to purchase firearms and/or weapons (guns, bullet proof vests, ammunition, etc.)

Applying

APPLICATION IS OPEN. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND ARE FAMILIAR WITH OUR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.

We welcome applications to the Sprinkle of Joy Initiative, on a rolling basis from January 22, 2025, to November 7, 2025. Once all program funds have been allocated, we will no longer consider applications for the year, so we encourage you to apply early to maximize your chances.

If your application is successful, you’ll be required to provide impact data and metrics through a short reporting survey within one year of receiving your funding. This helps us understand how our support has helped create magic for kids and families.
